Homemade Salt Body Scrub!

1
Don't spend to get your skin pampered! Be resourceful. You'll find in your kitchen just what you need to make a homemade body scrub.

But first, what are body scrubs? What do they do for the skin? Well, body scrubs scrape away the top layers of your skin to reveal the fresher, more radiant skin behind. Body scrubs are ideal for all types of skins. They exfoliate, moisturize, renew the skin. Body scrubs must be done at least once a week and therefore must be part of every man and woman's beauty routine.

Make your own Salt Body Scrub:

Ingredients:
  • Salt
  • Essential Oils (depending on your preference)
  • Honey
  • Mashed fruits (avocado, papaya, banana)
  • Green Tea
How to prepare:

There is no fast rule when it comes to making your own body scrub. Get as much salt, oils, honey or mashed fruits as you want. Just make sure your mixture won't lose the scrub consistency you are looking for.  If you don't have all the above ingredients mentioned, you can use just plain salt and honey, or how about sugar and honey.

Add extra twist to your homemade salt body scrub! Why not mix in milk or cocoa, or chocolate for a mocha/chocolate salt body scrub! :)

What Not to Do In Your Daily Skin Care!

4
Daily Skin Care is very important. But do you know that there are things that you musn't do when it comes to taking care of your skin. Let's talk of these few things.

1. Don't Over Clean. Yes, do not overwash your skin otherwise you strip it with its natural moisture. For instance, people with oily skin who tend to keep washing and scrubbing their faces to get rid of the oil, end up drying their skin. As a result, the skin needs to produce more oil to keep the balance. Thus they end having more oil on their faces.

2. Avoid the Sun' Harmful Rays.  The UVA and UVB rays produced by the sun is the skin's most dangerous enemy. It hastens the aging process, causes wrinkles, dry skin, and dark spots. Your daily skin care regimen will be useless if you don't avoid these harmful rays. Wear sunscreen /sunblock every time you go out. Reapply during 10am to 3pm when the Sun is most hot.

3. Don't Use Chemicals on your skin. Many over the counter beauty products that promise good results contain chemicals that are harmful to your skin. These chemicals when used in the long run can do more damage than good to your skin, especially if you have sensitive. Opt for natural beauty products. To do this read the labels, read the product ingredients of what you are buying before actually trying them. Ensure that you know what you put on your face always. The natural way is always the healthier way to go.
